About the Challenge
Aryabhata Young Innovators Challenge is a nationwide platform designed to inspire school students to think creatively, solve real-world problems and develop innovative technology-driven solutions.
Through AI/ML, Design Thinking, hands-on innovation, expert mentoring and project presentation, students experience the complete innovation journey from identifying a problem to presenting a practical solution.

Who Can Participate?
Schools can participate by nominating their best project(s) selected through an intra-school competition.Nominations must be submitted by the authorized school representative using the school’s official email ID.

The Aryabhata Young Innovators Challenge gives schools a chance to encourage students to think beyond textbooks and work on ideas that can solve real-world problems. It's an opportunity for your students to explore innovation, build practical solutions and showcase what they can create.
Schools can organize an intra-school competition to find the most promising student project or projects. The school can then nominate its best project(s) for the Aryabhata Young Innovators Challenge.
Not necessarily. Students can start with an innovative idea and work on developing it into a practical solution. The challenge encourages students to focus on understanding a problem, thinking creatively and turning their ideas into meaningful projects.
Students can work together on innovation projects, giving them an opportunity to share ideas, divide responsibilities and learn from one another. Working on a project as a team can also help students build communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills.
Students can work on problems that matter in the real world. Some suggested areas include healthcare, agriculture, education, environment and sustainability, community development, public safety, climate and resource management, and AI for Divyang support.
Yes. Students don't need to be experts in AI or innovation to take part. The challenge gives them an opportunity to explore AI/ML, Design Thinking and hands-on innovation while developing their ideas and learning along the way.
The school needs to identify its best student project or projects through its internal selection process and nominate them for the challenge. The nomination should be completed by an authorized representative of the school using the required school details.
Registration and nomination should be completed using the official email ID of the school by an authorized school representative. Personal email IDs of students or other non-official email IDs should not be used for the nomination.
Once the school registers, it can begin its internal process of identifying and selecting its best project or projects. The selected project can then be nominated according to the challenge guidelines and move ahead in the innovation and evaluation process.
An authorized school representative can register through the official page by submitting the required details. Since registration slots are limited, schools are encouraged to complete their registration early and begin preparing their students for the challenge.
